The  is a comprehensive, proven approach to learning and development for children with
                                                motor challenges. It was established in 1998 by Aquinas College but operates as a
                                                financially independent, private, nonprofit organization.
                                                
                                                The CLC in Grand Rapids is considered to be the premiere conductive education (CE)
                                                program in North America Recently, the Center, located at 2428 Burton Street S.E.,
                                                joined with other centers nationwide to celebrate Conductive Learning Awareness Day
                                                on Feb. 25. The Center also received official declarations for the CE Awareness Day
                                                from Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, Mayor George Heartwell of Grand Rapids and Mayor
                                                Cindy Bartman of East Grand Rapids.
